Working with a Local or National Note Buyer
Buy Local! A lot of people say we should buy local. They say it helps our community and our economy. But what does buying local really mean? Is it just about supporting your neighbors? Or is it about supporting your own community? I think it’s both. Buying local means supporting your community, but also keeping money within your community. When you buy locally, you support your friends and neighbors who live in your community. And you help keep jobs in your community. So, if you are thinking about buying something locally, ask yourself these questions: Are my purchases supporting my community? Do they keep jobs in my community? Am I supporting my neighbor?
Most products we use every day come from large corporations. These large corporations usually offer better prices because they’re able to produce larger quantities at lower costs than smaller firms. It is easier for us to learn about their products.
Because they’re able to offer the best prices and have the most experience, buying mortgages from a national lender like Seascape Capital makes sense.
Of course, as with any profession, some national bank customers are better than others. An excellent national bank customer will be competent, experienced and licensed in his/her state, accredited highly with a B+ rating by the Better Banker Association, and be someone that he/she feels he/she can trust. Avoid bank customers who are new to the industry and investors who promise you too much money for your investment. These people are almost certainly scammers and should be avoided.
